Arsenal 2 - 0 Wolves - Match Report | Arsenal.comMikel Arteta’s men began the season in perfect form after a hard-fought two nill win against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates on Saturday. Havertz and Saka scored and assisted each other to give the Gunners the victory.

Havertz opened the score in the first half from a Bukayo Saka cross before turning the provider in the second half as Saka slotted in a beautiful shot at the near post.

It wasn’t the best game we could see from the Gunners but all that matters is 3 points and they got that today with a clean sheet in their opening match of the season.

Wolves didn’t make it easy for them as well as David Raya was called into action with three massive saves to ensure the clean sheet was intact, Arsenal did a brilliant job defending in transition.

Saka’s goal in the 74th minute killed the game, with a trademark cut inside from the right side and a perfect shot slammed into the near post, the Gunners ran away with a two-nill win.
